Come as you are
Move. Make sounds. Play. Listen. Discover.
Permit yourself to move without needing to know how you should move.
Let your voice come out without needing to sound a certain way.
Share that experience with other people.
The Voice-Body Connection Workshop is an invitation to step out of everyday routines and into a space where you can explore, play, listen, and express yourself freely by using your body, your voice, your imagination, and your senses.
You don't need to be a dancer.
You don't need to be a singer.
You don't need any previous experience.
You simply need curiosity.
What happens during the workshop?
WE BEGIN WITH THE BODY
A gentle and playful voice-body warm-up helps you arrive, become aware of yourself, and open your senses.
THEN WE PLAY
Through games, sounds, letters, imagination, and movement, we begin to discover what happens when you let the power of your voice shape your movement.
THEN WE EXPAND
We experiment with microphones, filters and effects to take space and create space.
We also bring music to enhance your experience
Finally we bring it all together with a group improvisation. There is no expected outcome; the experience belongs to you and everyone present.

I could be like a child again.
“I especially appreciated how the whole experience allowed us to release our creativity so freely and also simply be like children — that felt very special.”
It was something very special.
"Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart! It was something truly special. Right after it was over, I needed some deep rest. I had a lot of dreams last night. A lot has been set in motion!"
I could experience myself anew.
“The workshop and Yamile’s mindful guidance led me back to myself and, at the same time, to the movements and voices of everyone together—and, importantly, to appreciate each and every one of them.”
