Yamile’s work is recognized for its deep exploration of the human experience, often focusing on themes of afterlife, cultural perceptions of death, the meaning of being human, and the intricate connection between voice and body. Her choreography ranges from abstract neoclassical pieces to thought-provoking narratives, always infused with a subtle or a strong emphasis on the integration of movement and sound.

As an educator, Yamile is passionate about nurturing young talent. She has co-directed the Young Dance Company at JKS (2023-2024) and serves as a guest choreographer for the Modern-Dance-Company at Öh-Töne. Her teaching experience extends to diverse groups, including workshops for people with and without disabilities, and those from immigrant backgrounds.

Yamile's versatility as a performer allows her to seamlessly transition between various styles, from pointe work to Latin inspired movement, to abstract movements. This adaptability is evident in her performances in productions like "TRANZ-/-FLEXION" (2013), “Transitions of Identity”(2015), Piraten Cabaret" (2017), and "MOVEMENT L" (2023).

Throughout her career, Yamile has been an active member of the dance community. She served on the board of TanzNetzDresden (2020-2024) and is a member of Dancersconnect, a German non-profit organization. Her commitment to personal growth led her to complete the 'Thinking into Results' program from the Proctor Gallagher Institute, and she now serves as a success advisor with Diamond Mind Consulting.

Yamile holds a Bachelor of Arts from Palucca Hochschule für Tanz in Dresden (2012) and a Professional Degree in Classical Dance from Institut del Teatre in Barcelona (2009). She continues to refine her skills, recently obtaining a 4Pointe certification (2024).
